Rollout Guide

Plan your synagogue rollout
before you start.

Gather everything in this guide first and your setup will take ten minutes instead of an hour. Nothing complicated — just a checklist.

What to gather

Assets checklist.

Synagogue name

The full name as you want it displayed on the screen.

Rabbi name

For the signup form — not displayed publicly on the TV screen.

Email address

Your admin email. This receives the magic dashboard link.

ZIP or postal code

Used to generate your coordinates for accurate zmanim calculations.

Logo file (PNG or JPG)

Ideally square, at least 256x256px, transparent background preferred. This stays fixed on screen.

Up to 5 photos (optional)

Synagogue interior, exterior, or community photos. These rotate on screen. Landscape orientation (16:9) works best.

Minyan schedule

Weekday Shacharit, Mincha, Maariv times. Shabbat times separately.

Donation QR code image (optional)

A Zelle or other donation QR. Export it as a PNG from your donation platform.

TV or device ready

Your smart TV, Fire Stick, or computer plugged in and connected to the internet.

Deployment Tips

What works well in the real world.

Use the native TV app for dedicated lobby hardware

The Android TV or Fire TV app locks the screen into fullscreen mode. No browser address bar, no accidental navigation. Install it once and leave it.

Bookmark the dashboard link

The 16-character dashboard URL is your permanent access. Save it in your email, bookmark it, and share it with your office manager.

Test the alert ribbon before Shabbat

Push a green test alert to make sure the audio and ribbon behave correctly on your specific TV and speaker setup before you ever need a live alert.

Landscape photos look best

The TV display is widescreen. Square or portrait photos will display with side bars. 16:9 landscape photos fill the screen cleanly.

Logo with transparent background

A PNG logo with a transparent background blends into any screen background color. A white-background logo will show a white box.

Multiple TVs — same code

You can open the same TV code URL on as many TVs in your building as you need. All screens update simultaneously when you publish a change.
