1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Zmanim.TV (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free screen users and registered synagogue accounts.
2. Description of Service
Zmanim.TV provides digital signage software for synagogues and Jewish community organizations. The Service displays zmanim (Jewish prayer times), minyan schedules, weather, announcements, photos, and emergency alerts on internet-connected screens. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind.
3. Beta Service Disclaimer
The Service is currently in beta. This means features may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable at any time. Zmanim calculations, weather data, emergency alerts, and scheduled content may contain errors, delays, or interruptions. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.
4. Emergency Alerts — Critical Limitation
Emergency alerts provided by Zmanim.TV are for convenience only and must never be relied upon as your only emergency or safety notification system. Alert sounds may be too loud, too soft, delayed, interrupted, or completely unavailable depending on the device, browser, operating system, and local audio settings. You must maintain independent backup emergency procedures. Zmanim.TV assumes no liability for any failure of the alert system.
5. Account Terms
24-hour activation: After signup, you must verify and open the dashboard magic link within 24 hours. Accounts not activated within 24 hours are automatically deleted.
Verified accounts: After you verify your email by opening the dashboard magic link, your registered account is not automatically deleted for TV inactivity.
One account per email: If you sign up with an email that already has an account, the system resends your existing access details rather than creating a duplicate.
6. Acceptable Use
The Service is designed exclusively for synagogues and Jewish community organizations. You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to display content that is harmful, offensive, or violates any applicable law, to attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the Service, or to use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it.
7. Uploaded Content
You retain ownership of any logos, photos, or other content you upload. By uploading content, you grant Zmanim.TV a limited license to store and display that content on your registered screen. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.
8. Privacy and Data
We collect basic information to provide the Service: synagogue name, rabbi name, email address, and approximate location coordinates. Street addresses used during signup for coordinate generation are not retained. Stored coordinates are rounded to 2 decimal places for privacy. See our

9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ZMANIM CALCULATIONS WILL BE ACCURATE.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZMANIM.TV SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSSES ARISING FROM INACCURATE ZMANIM, FAILED EMERGENCY ALERTS, OR SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS.
11. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by applicable law. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
